An excellent private practice opportunity is available for a BE/BC hematologist/oncologist to join a single specialty group of three. One of the physicians will be scaling back to part time and possibly retiring. There is enough volume as the dominant providers of oncology to add another physician. Call will be 1:3 though the NP also takes first call and there is a hospitalist program to cover all admissions. Physicians are seeing about 12 patients per day with 1-3 new patients daily. This does not include those coming for chemo treatments in the 16 chair chemo suite. The practice has been established 25 years and is extremely successful. The hospital's cancer center program, one of the centers for excellence, is accredited by the American College of Surgeons on Cancer. Surgical oncology and radiation therapy are also offered here.
