Tremendous Hematology/Oncology locum tenens job opportunity in beautiful southern Missouri. Single-physician practice is seeking sporadic coverage this spring as they await the arrival of their new permanent physician. A typical day is Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 5:00, with a 20 PPD average, plus 2 new consults and up to 8 follow-ups. Hospitalists handle admits and locums physician would visit, but not manage inpatients. Four days per week is preferred and the schedule is flexible (Mon - Thurs, Tues - Fri); no call is anticipated. There are 10 infusion chairs at the clinic and a full support staff, including NP, Oncology RNs that administer chemo, and an office/admin support team. Privileging can be done very quickly and a highly competitive rate is offered. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided for the locums physician.
