Attention all locum tenens Hospitalists looking to head South for the winter… we have a wonderful job opportunity for you! Located in the southern part of North Carolina, a hospital is looking to add a sixth Hospitalist to their group. The permanent search has started, but they need a locum tenens to fill the gap in the meantime. The need starts immediately and will be ongoing until a permanent candidate is chosen. The schedule will be 7 on / 7 off, from 10am to 10pm, and the average patient volume is 15 - 20 patients per day. The candidate will be joining a group of five Hospitalists and two midlevels. The majority of ICU procedures will be required, but there are other Hospitalists always there for backup if needed. Privileging could take up to six weeks, so interested candidates should respond immediately!!
