IP/OP: 100% Inpatient
Call: No Call
Support Staff: The Hospital will run the service with 4 AM Teams (7A-7P), 1 Swing (hours TBD), and 1 PM Hospitalist (7P-7A).Surgery Team takes care of paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, and central lines. The Critical Care Team takes care of the vents.
Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc.): Procedures are not required, but they must be comfortable with them in the case of an emergency situation where they may be needed to step in. Responsible for responding to codes on all floors except for the Emergency Room.
Charting/Dictation: EMR
BC/BE Requirement: Board Certified in IM or FP, or BE with proof of a scheduled exam
