Schedule: Flexible to AM, PM and Swing Shifts
Patient Volume: Average Patient Encounters per Physician is 16-18. 2-3 admits per day per physician. 8-10 admits per night.
Patient Ages: Adult
IP/OP: 100% Inpatient
Call: No Call
Support Staff: 13.5 FTE program with staffing program with 5 AM Rounding HOS & 1 NOC. Open ICU so the Physician will see ICU patients, but there is an Intensivist on Staff who is in the hospital 12-hour and then on call each night.
Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc.): No Procedures. Rounds and Admits only. Respond to Codes for Hospitalist Program Patients only.
Charting/Dictation: EMR
BC/BE Requirement: Board Certified or Schedule for Board Certification. If Scheduled, must show proof of sitting for the exam.
