Schedule: 8 AM - 5PM (Monday - Friday) in the Clinic & 7 AM - 5PM in the Hospital when the Physician is On Call)
Patient Volume: 12 average daily visits (100% scheduled patients) / 5 Hospital Admissions per week. The Hospitalist & ED Physicians are responsible for writing admission orders.
Patient Ages: 15% Adult Medical & 85% Geriatric Patients
Call: Yes - 1:3 (Full Week, Every 3rd Week & Full Weekend, Every 3rd Weekend). Will take an average of 5 phone calls per night, and no admissions.
Support Staff: 3 Other Physicians working with our Locum Tenens Physician. Other Support Staff include (3) PA, (1) MA, & (1) RN
Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc): As part of the Critical Care Work: bronchoscopy; intubation; surgical airway procedures; pulmonary catheters;thoracentes is for aspiration; laryngoscopy; pulmonary surgical procedures
Charting/Dictation: EMR
BC/BE Requirement: BC/BE in Primary Care, Residency Trained in Primary Care & Training in Critical Care Medicine
