Excellent Hospitalist opportunity in Southern California. This hospital is located about one hour outside of Los Angeles. This position is with the largest Physician-owned Hospitalist group in the County. This group is made up of 8 Hospitalists and there is one more opening. They are working 5 days on / 2 days off and the call schedule is 1:4. This is a flexible group full of team players. You would be managing all aspects of patient care from admission to discharge and ensuring that patients are treated in a timely manner. They focus on keep readmission rates to a minimum. You would provide services to patients in long-term acute care facilities, as well as hospice patients. The ideal candidate would be experienced, Board Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine and would have additional certification in Pulmonary/Critical Care but is not a requirement. They are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, familiar with managed care principles, able to work independently coordinating the many different aspects of patient care. All candidates must have California Medical license. They are offering a competitive salary. There is potential for partnership and partners are earning up to 400K.
