Corning Hospitalist Opportunity
Corning Hospital is a 99-bed acute care, community hospital built on a proud tradition of community healthcare excellence. Corning Hospital provides a full array of clinical services, as well as health and wellness services designed to enable individuals to maintain or improve their health. The hospital is located in Corning, New York.
Practice Information:
• Provides direct patient care for Corning Hospital medicine inpatients for 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Each Hospitalist rounds on 12-15 patients per day.
• Hospitalist schedule, once fully staffed with 6.5 Hospitalists, will be 7 on, 7 off with 2 physicians on day shift and 1 physician on night shift.
• Each full-time Hospitalist will work 26 weeks per year.
• Attend and participate in the care management team meetings.
• Initiate, lead and participate in quality improvement activities.
• New program with strong leadership.
• Collegial group that is well-supported by other physicians in the Guthrie Health System.
