Our client has an excellent moonlighting job opportunity for a Nocturnist looking for about 8-10 shifts a month starting ASAP in southeastern Vermont and the shifts are 12 hours each. Ideal candidate will be BC Internal Medicine with a strong comfort level performing ICU procedures such as central lines and vent management. The facility has a respiratory team that handles intubations. This client is experiencing growth and, at the same time, they are in the process of building their own 24/7 in-house program, which they anticipate will start later in the year. There is double coverage during the day and single coverage and night and sub-specialty support is available during the day, but limited at night, which is why the Nocturnist provider needs to be comfortable with procedures. The coverage need is for September ongoing, for 8-10 nights, in 3-5-day increments. Patients on the floor, which includes a small ICU, is 24-28, and that includes possibly 2-3 admissions per night as well. Credentialing can be completed on an emergency basis within two weeks. The pay is great and the need is urgent, so give us a call! This is a beautiful part of the Northeast, especially in the late fall and there’s plenty to keep you busy during the day. The area is filled with rich culture, history, and Victorian charm!
