Our client has a job opportunity for a locums Nocturnist at their facility in south central Wisconsin starting immediately and ongoing for the next 6-7 months. The right candidate needs to be BC/BE in Internal Medicine, but does not have to be strong in ICU procedures, because there is full sub-specialty support on-site for both days and nights, including Intensivists, Physician's Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, General Surgeons, Cardiologists, Radiologists, Anesthesiologists, and more. The schedule is 7 on/off; a swing shift from 7P - 2A. There is a second Nocturnist that works from 7P - 7A, alongside the swing shift provider. While there is a floor census of 150, the client states that there is very little activity at night and both physicians may see a maximum of 2-3 patients per night. The Emergency Department and Intensivists are first-line responders to codes and rapid responses. Credentialing takes about 4-5 weeks, which includes time to complete special applications for Wisconsin insurance coverage. Your medical malpractice, travel, and lodging are paid for and the compensation is excellent! If you enjoy the cold weather and snow, then you'll appreciate all of the winter sports and activities this hopping community has to offer, in addition to great Midwestern hospitality! If you give us a call now, you'll be set for your job for the next 6-8 months!
