Our client has a great job opportunity for a locums Hospitalist for their facility near Charlotte, North Carolina starting in late January and going through March 2011. They are looking for someone who is BC/BE in Internal Medicine with the ability to perform ICU procedures such as central lines, vent management, and intubations, in addition to running codes and rapid responses. The patient volume for this facility is about 20 ppd, but there are two Hospitalists and a midlevel on during the day and a Nocturnist at night. The Emergency Department is available to assist, and there is some sub-specialty support, but the locums provider should be comfortable performing the ICU procedures on their own. The need for this job is due to a volume increase due to flu season and the client is looking for some relief for their current physicians. Will you jump in and save the day and the patients? Being close to Charlotte, you know you'll be close to the big city and still be close enough to beautiful parks and recreational activities. Did I mention this is a gorgeous city? Credentialing can literally be done in one week with a clean background. The client will cover your travel and lodging. This assignment offers exceptional pay and your medical malpractice is also included; what are you waiting for?
