The contract physician shall perform all procedures within the scope of hospitalist. Serve as a primary care physician for patients who have both acute and/or chronic illnesses in an inpatient, outpatient, and consultative mode. . Provide medical examination, care, and treatment to eligible military healthcare system beneficiaries. Manage the full spectrum of care for patients? with complicated medical problems which may include but not be limited to hypertension, peptic ulcer disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes, arthritic conditions, etc.Conserve health of patients by application of diversified knowledge of preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical and surgical procedures. WBAMC Clinic operates Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM, no holidays at the clinic, no weekends and on-call two week period. Medical malpractice insurance is covered and comes with an excellent compensation rate.
