Sterling Medical Corporation working in partnership with the Veterans Administration has an immediate opening for a Physician to join their team as the clinic Medical Director at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Macon, GA . The Physician should be Board Certified or Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Experience in Geriatrics is a plus. A Georgia medical license in good standing is required. This career opportunity allows an excellent work/life balance for the provider. The clinic hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no nights, weekends or on-call.
Requirements:
*Georgia unrestricted state medical license
*Board Certified/Eligible Family or Internal Medicine
*1-2 years minimum experience with multi-system diseases
*Experience with electronic medical records preferred but not mandatory
*Experience supervising mid-level providers and doing QA peer review
