The Practice:
SW Colorado Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Internist
4-day work week, Hospital employed opportunity!
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) – U.S. Residency / Internship
Comprehensive outpatient care of medically complex patients - (24/7 Hospitalist Program in place)
Call is 1 in 4 during the day. Most call is done by phone consultation
Patient volume is 16 – 24 patients a day. Amount of Hospital Inpatient involvement is dependent on interest of individual physician.
High skill level in managing ICU patients; including chest tube management, central & arterial lines, intubation, paracentesis, vent management & EKG interpretation
Newly built campus with up-to-date equipment - Laboratory on site 24/7; turnaround approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours
49 licensed beds with 6 bed ICU and 6 LDRP’s -- 4 operating rooms, 12 treatment rooms in the Emergency Department -Trauma Level IV Designation
