It is an employee based model with no opportunity for partnership. Though they do offer a RVU incentive program. This is a growing, fast-paced, non-profit community health center with a mission to provide accessible, affordable, comprehensible quality primary health care in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity. It is a freestanding delivery model through which comprehensive, preventive primary care, dental care, outreach programs, and training/education services are offered across the life cycle of all people of Northern Arizona. The health and well being of patients and community alike are promoted through direct services, training/education, outreach, and advocacy. They are a 501(c) with three (3) facilities and 10 clinics, 55 professional providers and 275 employees. Their combined facilities received 103,000 patient visits across northern Arizona in FY 2007-08. The payer mix is 20% sliding fee scale; 14% Medicare; 36% AHCCCS/Medicaid; 30% Private Insurance. This particular clinic is currently staffed with 1 MD, 2 NP and 1 PA. The facility is less than one year old and very nice. It includes 10 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, large waiting room, lab station, no radiology and shared office space for providers. 100% outpatient, no OB, phone call 1 in 8. Physicians are expected to see 18-24 patients in an 8 hour shift. They will be doubling the size of the clinic in 2009. Currently half of the building is built out and we have plans to complete the build out this year. They need 1 physician to begin work now and will be looking for additional providers to begin work in 2010. The demand for our services outweighs the ability for them to provide care. They plan on adding an additional 8-10 exam rooms and 3-4 full time physicians.
