Job Summary:
The Lexington, KY VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time or part-time internal medicine or pulmonologist/critical care physician to serve as nocturnal attending, managing medical patients in the VA's 13-bed combined medical/surgical intensive care unit. Applicants must be board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine. Additional training/certification in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine desirable.
All applicants must qualify for an Academic appointment with the University of Kentucky.
Cut-Off Date: This announcement will remain open until all positions are filled. The first 'cut-off' date is July 1, 2010 (then the 1st and 15th of each month).
Relocation expenses and recruitment or relocation incentive of up to 25 percent authorized for a highly qualified candidate. The Guaranteed Home Buyout Option (GHBO) is NOT authorized.
