Geriatric Physician opportunity in Denver Colorado! This opportunity is open to either Family or Internal Medicine Physicians who have a Geriatric Fellowship or background. This will be an employed opportunity with a great FQHC system with over 20 locations throughout Metro Denver. They are very flexible about scheduling, but require 30 hours a week for full- time status. You will see 10 to 15 patients per day who have high risk health issues such as diabetes and dementia. The clinic has two Medical Assistants and is open Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:30 with the exception of Thursday which is 9 to 6. There are no nights, weekends, or call. They expect the new Physician to take about 6 months to get up and running and acclimated with their system and EMR which involves federal coding. This will be an employed position with a starting salary in the 160 to 180K range. They will also offer you a comprehensive benefit plan including 6 weeks of PTO.
