The University of Tennessee Medical Group is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to join their group. We currently have 3 Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists and 1 Geneticist in the department and have a large enough volume to support three more. The Center has a large
maternal referral base from 80 counties and five states. With approximately 4,500 deliveries a year, many patients have significant high risk maternal and/or fetal problems.
The labor and delivery unit at the Regional Medical Center has 15 LDR rooms as well as the capacity for ICU care. The high-risk service is maintained by providing focused care to complicated antepartum and postpartum patients and is available for consultation on patients in Labor and Delivery Unit 24 hours a day.
