Oncology Medical Director needed for Cancer Center in Illinois
The new director will coordinate all cancer programs, quality, outcomes, budgets, multidisciplinary care planning, oversee clinical trials and M.D. relations, projects and activities within the hospital system.
You will also have the once in lifetime opportunity in designing and building the regions first comprehensive cancer center.
This will be a 40/60 Administrative/Clinical position.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience practicing medicine in an oncology related field. Past experience to include staff supervision, policy formulation and implementation, coordination of training and in-service programs, held chair position of cancer committee in a healthcare setting, and experience with clinical trials.
