A top-rated Connecticut hospital is in search of Neonatologists interested in working occasional shifts at their Level IIIB NICU. This facility has an average census of 10-12 patients, with 1-2 on conventional ventilators per day. The hospital sees about 190 deliveries per month, 20 of which are high risk. There is a designated first responder who covers the deliveries, but the provider may be required to cover as needed. They need help each month to cover a flexible schedule which could include 12-, 16-, & 24-hour in-house nights or possible some day shifts. This is the perfect position for someone who already works full-time or is looking to add an ongoing locums assignment to their schedule.
