A new practice established in northern Georgia has requested a locum tenens Neonatologist for vacation coverage May 5-9, so they can attend a ceremony for their son in New York. This job opportunity is an immediate need for help in their Level II NICU, which has about 3-5 infants per day. The doctor will complete rounds, admissions, attend high-risk deliveries, and do EMR charting through Neo Data. The Neonatologists also help in the newborn nursery, which amount to about 1-2 patients per day. The doctor will remain available overnight on beeper from a local hotel. The facility will help push credentials through quickly.
