We are seeking a Neonatologist for a Medical
Director as part of the Children?s Hospital expansion. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides care to approximately 850 infants each year . The NICU is the training ground for residents in Pediatrics, Medicine/Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Neonatal-Perinatal
Fellows. The unit is staffed by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners 24/7.
State-of-the-art facility highlights:
? More than 160 inpatient and outpatient beds
? Single 50-bed, Level III NICU with 21 additional convalescent beds
? Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit with isolation capability
? Pediatric Operating Suite with pre and post anesthesia and short stay beds
? Outpatient procedural unit
? Pediatric Emergency Department will open Spring 2012
