Excellent job opportunity for locum tenens Neonatologist at a set of Level II NICUs in South Carolina. A two-person group is requesting vacation and holiday coverage throughout the year. Current needs are for August 8-14, October 6-11, October 28 - November 7, November 21-28, and December 19-26, 2011. In this role, you can expect to attend to an average daily census of 12 patients at both hospitals. The hospital system sees about 3,600 yearly deliveries, but the Neonatologist rarely attends because they have a team in place. This facility only keeps babies 32 weeks and older, and above 1,500 grams. After completing your daily rounds and responsibilities, you will remain available overnight at a local hotel on beeper call.
