Excellent job opportunity exists in northern Michigan in a regional medical center starting ASAP! This group of Neonatologists needs coverage 7-8 shifts per month in their Level IIIB, 20-bed NICU. The typical day has you covering in-house at night from 5 PM - 7 AM, seeing an average daily census of 12-14 babies, although some 24-hour weekend shifts may be requested. You should be comfortable with newborn resuscitation, endotracheal intubation, umbilical line placement, and lumbar puncture procedures. The hospital has about 2,000 deliveries per year. Client is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to fill this position immediately. This position includes malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, and outstanding compensation.
