Potential long-term locums assignment, located in Oklahoma, for a solo Neonatologist that’s in need of some regular relief for his Level III NICU. With this job opportunity, the physician can expect to work 7-10 day stretches while attending to an average census of 6 babies. The shift runs from about 8-5pm daily, and then the doctor would just remain available via beeper overnight as needed. The facility has Residents during the day; RNs and Respiratory Therapists help out during the day and night. The most crucial dates for coverage are December 17-28, 2011 but we anticipate regular future needs. The position requires the Neonatologist to be Board Certified or Eligible within a 5-year period after fellowship.
