One of our premier clients has a job opportunity for a locum tenens Neonatologist at a newly developed Level II in southern California. This hospital is scheduled to open in August and they anticipate the average daily census will run at about six patients. The doctor will be responsible for rounding, admissions, and high-risk deliveries over a 24-hour shift, while remaining available overnight via beeper. There is potential to work up to 10 shifts per month in both locations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in all levels of care since they will be asked to help out in another higher acuity Level III nearby on subsequent days. They are seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist, but Board Eligible doctors may also be allowed if within five years of completing their fellowship. Linde Healthcare will provide daily compensation, malpractice insurance, as well as paid travel and lodging while on assignment.
