H1 visa's accepted. This group is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join its busy and growing OB/GYN Department. It is a fully integrated multi-specialty clinic located in Northern Minnesota. The group has more than 50 physicians specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, anesthesiology, cardiology, urology, otolaryngology, pathology and obstetrics and gynecology. The group currently has two OB/Gyn physicians with anticipation of one physician relocating out of state to be closer to family. This practice opportunity can include
gynecologic surgery, routine and high-risk obstetrics, ultrasound, infertility, incontinence, and women’s healthcare.
The practice is full-time (part-time negotiable) with a balance of clinical and surgical services including:
· Three full days of clinic
· 2 half days of OR
· Call averages 1:3 with additional General Surgery backup for cesarean sections
· Back up family physicians providing obstetrical services by providing consults, operative vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
· RN first assist available for scheduled and on-call OR cases.
· Approximately 400 deliveries/year.
· Estimated 20-25% c-section rate (no VBACs)
· Ultrasound and Mammography available. Stereo tactic breast biopsies utilized.
