We are scheduling interviews for this well established OB/GYN group practicing in West Palm Beach that is hiring a High Risk OB/GYN physician. In addition to their generalists they have two perinatologists and a GYN oncologist. They service a variety of communities and they have an opening in the division of their practice that provides coverage for the local Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a state program that provides care to high risk mom's. Many of the patients are gestational diabetics or insulin requiring diabetics and there are more than a few HIV positive patients. The group's perinatologists are in the clinic once a week and then they have a part time physician who does patient intakes and H&P's. Then a generalist who sees the bulk of the patients that are easily managed by a generalist. They also provide coverage for deliveries of these patients as well as patients who present from the Palm Beach County Health Department clinics for delivery. The call is 6 per month, 24 hour shifts (4 week days, 2 weekend days) and then 3 days in the office. You always have the day off after a call. There is no call from home.
