Description H1 Visa's accepted. 100% occupational medicine - Southern New Mexico. Doc is retiring - take over an established and respected industrial health practice in area dominated by mining, WIPP and oil/gas employers that provide EAP and SAP to their employees. Be the sole provider in this community of over 51,000. Clinic staff handle about 150 outpatient visits per week. Types of visits include: injuries, physicals, fitness for duty, and return to work. Hospital requires 10 days call per month. Candidate will have the responsibility of supporting many successful, long term employer relationships as well as fostering new associations. An occupational medicine residency and/or previous occupational medicine experience highly desired. Board certified or board eligible within reasonable time. Working knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals. Comfort level with workers comp treatment . Tuned into the employer's needs relating to that (avoiding on site incidents). Working knowledge of medical surveillance physicals required by OSHA . MRO certification is desirable. Strong desire to work ''hands on'' . . .Not an administrative position . Ability to communicate well with clients and cater to their special needs and requests . Bilingual (Spanish/English) ideal. Excellent customer service skills.
