Description

We are working with a client in Metro northeastern, GA.  They have an immediate opening for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Occ/Med physician for an established Occupational Medicine Clinic in Augusta, Georgia.

  • This is an employed position with competitive compensation, productivity bonuses and full benefits package including CMEs, malpractice insurance and travel allowance.
  • Average daily patient volume is 15 patients per physician and growing.
  • Anticipated daily volume for incoming physician in the office could reach 30 patients.
  • The call will be a minimum as most companies have directorship agreements and may only call with questions.
  • Average number of "on call" phone calls is about 3 per month.
    Physician should be comfortable with work injury management including minor surgical repairs.
  • The practice is housed in a 5000 sq. ft. office building, closer to the industrial area of town and with endless opportunities to grow.
  • There are 6 exam rooms, in-house pharmacy, lab, and x-ray.
  • The practice also has an onsite vehicle to do a lot of onsite work, as this aspect is growing also.
  • They are located in the heart of north central Georgia, boasting scenic lakes, wetlands and trails. City is recognized as one of Georgia's most livable cities.

Augusta is a beautiful community with local population of 200K. It is the second largest and oldest city in Georgia. Located in the east central section of the state, it is approximately 150 miles east of Atlanta on Interstate 20. Augusta is also centrally located just two and a half hours from the beach and the mountains. They have excellent public, parochial and private schools. Higher education can be obtained at several of the two and four-year colleges in Georgia and in South Carolina. Economy is strong, diverse and growing.
