Description Maxim Government Services is searching for a qualified Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for our client, the Baltimore, Maryland Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.  Services are needed Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with on call rotation for nights and weekends.  The initial contract term is one year with additional options of extension likely.  Any state license works.  Maxim covers malpractice and can assist with relocation and temporary lodging (if applicable).

Qualifications:
 a. Personnel assigned by The Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall be licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.  Qualified personnel must be American citizens (or offer evidence of a green card).   Contractor’s employee(s) shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the Government’s requirements, to include the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. 
b. The qualifications of such personnel shall also be subject to review by the VA Chief, Radiation Oncology Service, VA Chief of Staff and approval by the VA Medical Center Director. 
c. Radiation Oncologists must be Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and maintain current licensure. Radiation Oncologists will maintain Clinical Privileges through the VAMHCS Medical Staff Office. Compliance with the VAMHCS BY-LAWS will be maintained.
d. Contract Professionals must provide evidence of at least one full, active, current and unrestricted licensure, registration, certification, and/or other relevant credentials, for verification prior to appointment and throughout the employment process, as requested.  They are responsible for keeping the Department of Veterans Affairs appraised of anything that would adversely affect or otherwise limit their clinical privileges.  Note:  Failure to keep VA fully informed on these matters may result in administrative or disciplinary action. 
e. The submittal of the proposed personnel shall consist of, but is not limited to:  Current CV/résumé, copy of licensure/certifications, documentation of experience, education and training.
