Ophthalmologist with RETINA Fellowship needed near Sioux City, Iowa
Northwestern Iowa private Ophthalmology practice in need of 2nd Ophthalmologist due to growth and patient demand.
General Ophthalmologist with Fellowship Training in diseases and surgery of the RETINA required. Extremely busy practice seeing over 50 patients daily. Satellite clinics in South Dakota and Nebraska, with expansion expected into northern Iowa in 2011. Excellent relationship with hospital and primary care providers in the area.
* State of the art equipment includes V/F-Visual Field, Zeiss Fundus Camera for Florescein Angio, Stratus OCT, Lumenis Laser, A % B Scan, Nidek YAG, Zeiss Laser, all new PCs and software with EMR system.
* No cataract surgery, it is referred out. Call will be 1:7, taking a week at time.
* Financial package includes 2 year guarantee at $300K+, $20K signing bonus, loan repayment assistance, production bonuses, full benefits to include 20 days PTO and $3K towards CME expenses, state licensing fees and dues paid.
* 1 year to partnership track with option of buying into joint venture surgery center. Prefer candidate with ties to Midwest. Must be BC/BE and willing to apply for IA, NE, and SD state licenses.
* Optical Shop and Optometrist in Office
* Perform surgeries at physician owned surgery center or hospital
