Maxim Government Services is searching for qualified Board Certified Anesthesiologists for our client the Ashville, North Carolina Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Any state license works. Maxim covers malpractice and can assist with travel arrangements i.e. temporary lodging, relocation, etc.

QUALIFCATIONS:
LICENSE: Personnel assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall be a licensed Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
BOARD CERTIFICATION /ELIGIBILITY: The contract Anesthesiologists shall be American Board and TEE certified.
CREDENTIALING AND PRIVILEGING: Must meet the credentialing/privileging requirements of the VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC before commencing work.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Applicants must provide evidence of at least one full, active, current and unrestricted licensure, registration, certification, and/or other relevant credentials, for verification prior to appointment and throughout the employment process, as requested.
TRAINING (ACLS/BLS/VA MANDATORY): Contractor employees must have BLS certification.
TECHNICAL DIRECTION: Provide services under the direction of the Chief of Anesthesiology.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Contractor will be required to provide on-call coverage.
DIRECT PATIENT CARE: 100% of the time involved in direct patient care
