We are currently accepting applications and referrals for the position of Section Chief – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City.
Located in the pleasant and convenient Upper East Side section of Manhattan, Metropolitan Hospital is a 341 bed level II trauma center, a university hospital affiliate of New York Medical College and a primary training site for the New York Medical College sponsored Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. A faculty appointment in the School of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience. The OMS section is under the aegis of the Department of Dental Medicine.
In this role, you will have clinical, teaching, and administrative oversight of our OMS service – which consists of a high volume ambulatory service, inpatient service, 24/7 consultative ER service, a staff of experienced Attendings, and four of the eight NYMC OMS Residents at any given time as well as interaction with three NYMC General Practice Residents.
