Description U.S. Got People is currently recruiting Physicians and MD’s for Direct Hire opportunities with our clients throughout Texas. These are not temporary or contract positions. These are new hire opportunities directly with our clients. We have several openings in the following locations: Texas: Angleton, Austin, Bartlett, Beaumont, Big Spring, Brookshire, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Ft. Worth, George West, Houston, Liberty, Tomball and San Antonio US Got People provides Physicians for Direct Hire to our clients for 19 outpatient clinics in the Texas area and will be supporting 20 additional clinics in 2012/2013. Our clients services are tailored to accommodate the full needs of employers, both public and private, DWC subscribers and non-subscriber markets, third party administrators and insurance carriers. Services include minor emergency injury care, pre-employment services including drug screening, hair analysis, alcohol breath testing and physicals, physical therapy and rehabilitation. Online reporting services compliment our expanded range of health care services to employers and employees. Job Description Responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services and facilitating appropriate healthcare treatment including patient consultations, weekly office visits, and patient evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS • Current Texas licensure • Current DEA and DPS licensure • M.D. or D.O. trained • Experience in IM, ER, FP, ER, or Ortho • Ability to work in a cooperative, multidiscipline fast pace setting • Excellent communication skills • Good organizational and time management skills • Professional appearance and demeanor • Spanish/English bilingual a plus JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform medical assessment of center patients • Work with Chief of Staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards in occupation medicine standards • Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice, judgment and quality of occupational health care • Recommend potential means of growth and development for new and existing services; review statistical reports relative to operations • Submit periodic reports on activities of center as requested. • Promote, support and engage in projects and activities which will develop or improve occupational medicine services. • Assure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies • Meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conduct work-place walk-through and other on-site assessments • Regularly calls client representatives upon seeing employee patients for initial injuries and change of duty status • In the absence of the Chief of Staff, may provide guidance to other medical staff to ensure mission is achieved • Perform any other tasks and duties reasonably requested by the Chief of Staff in accordance with established policies and procedures BENEFITS Our client benefit packages offer: • competitive base plus bonus opportunities • 401(K) with company match & immediate vesting • Group medical, dental, vision, life insurance & short-term disability insurance • Paid Time Off including vacation & sick/personal days • Paid Holidays • Paid malpractice/professional liability insurance • Paid CME/CEU's along with paid time off to attend courses • Paid Association dues and re-licensing fees Extensive compensation package and excellent benefits!
