Our client located near Salem continues to build on its solid reputation of offering patient centered,
compassionate care as it expand its orthopedic and sport medicine practice. A known leader in orthopedic and sports medicine, the orothopedic group seeks to add a fifth employed physician to their busy and growing practice.
Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity
The group seeks a dynamic, board certified/eligible orthopedic
surgeon with excellent clinical skills who shares in the group's philosophy of establishing
strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and referring physicians. In
addition to providing full-scope general orthopedic care, candidate must be
exceptionally skilled at performing total joint arthroplasty (hip and knee) and
standard arthroscopic procedures. The standard work week is four days, with
1:3 rotating weekend call. All inpatient work will be performed at our system owned
hospital, which features a newly constructed, state-of-the-art operating
room, expanded outpatient extended stay unit, beautifully furnished patient
rooms, and experienced surgical and nursing staff. With a service area of
273,000 and referring physician base of over 275, the opportunity to build a
thriving orthopedic practice is readily available.
Requirements
Education
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
Completion of ACGME accredited residency in orthopedic surgery
Fellowship in subspecialty area of orthopedic surgery preferred
Licensure
BE/BC with Board Certification within 6 months of joining
BE/BC by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Experience
Experience/training in total joints required
Fellowship training a plus
