Harlem Hospital Center provides a wide range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and family support services. The hospital is a 286 bed acute care facility and a designated Level 1 Trauma Center, with a full spectrum of specialty services, including a burn unit, an adult intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, stroke and a cardiac care unit.

Responsibilities:
Under general direction performs professional medical work of ordinary to the most difficult and highly specialized areas in his/her field of specialty. Examines patients, orders or performs appropriate diagnostic tests, formulates diagnosis, directs or performs appropriate therapeutic treatment, and counsels patients. Consults with other members of the professional staff, gives guidance and direction to the house staff and to his/her members of the health care team. Participates in the teaching of house staff, in staff conference, and in research projects as directed; performs related work as required.
Qualifications:
•Board Certified/Eligible •Current NYS license •Graduate from an approved medical school
