Otolaryngologist shall provide, but is not limited to, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involved in the examination, treatment and care of the full range of otolaryngology surgical patients at the IHS. Seeing 5-15 patients per day of clinic. Clinic hours are 9a-12p and 1p-4p. Perform Otolaryngology head and Neck surgical cases according to their skills and privileges and licensing. Will be expected to be on call after hours, weekends, and holidays to personally manage any post-operative complications that may arise on their patients. Consult with members of the surgical and anesthesia staff on matters of patient care for the operating room. Shall ne available for consultation with the Emergency room and primary care providers’. Shall make rounds on the ward to insure the patients are receiving proper medical care. Review clinical records and adhere to the records documentation procedures to insure that records are properly maintained.
