Client hiring for multiple locations in Palm Beach County
"Need Pain Management doc, Fellowship trained, Residency training in Anesthesia, PM&R etc.
Must be open to some inpatient, not just a 9 - 5 check in situation...
Interventional Pain Management position (floral, facet blocks, Epidurals) AN or PM&R
Large group, formed by a bunch of Fellowship trained docs (mostly Orthopedic
surgeons) who were in area, knew each other. Not one main doc over the whole
practice... run like a private practice
Cover it all... hand back neck, sports, four offices....
Call is paid call, independent service line. comes directly to the docs... is
about $500 per night, 2 nights month per hospital, 4 hospitals and on call at 3
hospitals at same time. goes into hospital maybe 2-3 times peryear.
The group sees about 48,000 patient visits per year, about 18,000 surgeries per
year
Avge 900 new patients per month
43% medicare, 23% blue cross, 18% managed care, no medicaid
It's an employment contract for first 2 years, allows enough time to become
share holder. Can do it in less time. Client will discuss but to become
shareholder cover your salary and fixed and variable overhead
and then opportunity to buy in,
the last 2 docs brought in were 13 and 16 months until ready to be shareholder (
shoulder and joint) The shoulder doc is now president of the foundation since
2009
salary will be competitive,
benefits normal blue cross blue shield, 401k plan, profit sharing...
once you buy in is equal ownership"
