A progressive community based development organization located in the Bronx,
is seeking an experienced Pain Management Provider (MD) Specialist for their Multi-service Health Center
Description: The Pain Management Provider develops a treatment plan to relieve, reduce, or manage pain and help patients return to everyday activities quickly without surgery or heavy reliance on medication.
Responsibilities:
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician specializing in Pain Management
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests (CT, PET, MRI, EMG, etc.) to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs
Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition
Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan
Prescribes, performs or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, injections, or related therapeutic procedures. Ensure all the patient's needs are met, the physician coordinates care through an interdisciplinary team of health professionals.
