Metropolitan Hospital located in the upper east side neighborhood of Manhattan and an academic affiliate of NY Medical College, seeks a Chief, Pain Medicine & Palliative care.

Under the administrative direction of Medical Director and in consultation with the lead administrative, nursing and medical staff at Metropolitan Hospital Center; supervises and manages clinical care for Pain Management and Palliative Care Services; provides leadership for the Fellowship Program; Supervises and directs the delivery of services for two Fellows in training at Lincoln Medical Center and four Fellows at Metropolitan Hospital Center; Supervises and directs the delivery of services for all Pain Management and Palliative Care Physicians; Ensures that all professional standards as established in federal and State law and regulations and as stipulated by the JCAHO and the medical board of Metropolitan Hospital Center are met.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an approved medical school; Completion of an approved residency program; Minimum three years fellowship experience in Pain Management and Palliative Care; Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine; Academic credentials in Pain Management and Palliative Care.
