Major teaching hospital in Northeast New Jersey in need of Palliative Care Director.
Position will include providing inpatient consultation services in palliative care, facilitate clarification of patient and family goals of care.
Consult with attending physician and Interdisciplinary Team to establish written plan of care at intervals specified in plan.
Facilitate access to appropriate supportive care services and education of staff, coworkers and community partners.
Full and appropriate documentation of services and participation in on-call coverage with the interdisciplinary team.
Supervise multidisciplinary team including Advanced Practice Nurses, pain specialists, patient navigators, and social support team.
This employed position will include attractive base salary with production bonuses.

Must be BC/BE in Hospice/Palliative Medicine or equivalent experience, and have one year of experience working as part of interdisciplinary team.
Must be Doctor of Medicine with two years experience beyond board certification and be New Jersey state licensed and in good standing with Board of Medical Examiners.
