We are currently accepting applications & referrals for the position of Section Chief, Palliative Care Hospitalist Program.

The successful candidate will:

·        Provide care to patients, and their families with serious debilitating illnesses or injury and/or end-of-life care addressing their physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.

·        Candidates should have an interest in advancing the education of Palliative Care system wide.  Expanding Palliative Care services into the entire out-patient system with future plans to initiate a Palliative Care Fellowship.

·        Additional responsibilities would include developing research projects and a QI program within Palliative Care.

Requirements:

·        Must possess training & experience in Palliative Care.

·        Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·        Must possess a New York State Medical license.

·        ABMS Board Certified/Board Eligible in Palliative Care.
