Anatomical/Surgical Division Chief Position
Our Pathology department, in conjunction with one of the top 10 largest reference labs in America, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Division Chief of Anatomical/Surgical Pathology. Our current faculty practice at the University Hospital and Clinics and provide service at linked area facilities such as the NCI designated Cancer center, NIH funded repository/centers and multiple research programs. Our reference lab services the entire state and has national consultative services as well. Join a faculty focused on making a difference in medicine.
* Gross room sees up to 80 cases daily - A heavily diagnostic service
* 60% on-service, 40% off-service for teaching, research and administrative duties
* Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology fellowships in this service
* Oversee 9 faculty, 6 residents and fellows, 2 assistants and 3 LSTs
* Any subspecialty welcome - Broad array of applied research available
