Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. We are currently recruiting a PEM Physician for a full-time Attending position.
Responsibilities: •Providing clinical hours of patient care and consults as well as administrative time •Providing appropriate training and supervision of Residents, Fellows, and students as may be required •Assisting in the academic and administrative advancement of EM/PEM Research as directed by the Director of Research and/or the Chief of Service •Participating in CME, performance improvement activities, off hour on-site department coverage, and hospital-wide committees, as required •Documenting and billing for services in accordance with PAGNY, Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, and Third Party guidelines •Assuming other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Chief of Service (or designee)
Qualifications:
•Obtain/maintain ABMS recognized certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and a NYS medical license in good standing
•Current adherence to all regulations relating, but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, and clinicolegal requirements •Current adherence to all standards and/or regulations of The Joint Commission, NYSDOH, and other regulatory bodies
