The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn NY is recruiting Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians for our growing department.  Our division currently includes PEM physicians as well as Board Certified Pediatricians with Pediatric ED experience. 

Coney Island Hospital is a community Hospital located in a pleasant Southern Brooklyn neighborhood. The Pediatric ED cares for approximately 15,000 patients under the age of 18 per year. There is 24/7 Attending coverage as well as 24/7 coverage by residents from Maimonides Medical Center, our academic affiliate. Medical students from NY College of Medicine rotate through the ED as well.  Brand new state of the art emergency department opening summer 2013!

Responsibilities of the faculty include direct patient care and supervision of residents and medical students. There are opportunities to participate in ongoing education and simulation. Candidate should be PEM Board certified or eligible.
