Unique Pediatric Surgeon Opportunity Join an existing practice with two other surgeons working part time in a small but busy practice at Deaconess Hospital. Use your skills with both neonate and general pediatric surgery in a busy, established practice. The opportunity is more of a job share than part time.
We have a couple of pediatric surgeons who want to slow down for a year or so and ease into retirement.
This would be a great opportunity for a physician who would like to go on a medical mission, spend more time with family, or someone who would love to have some time to slow down and smell the roses.
More hours available if desired
Skilled in neonatal surgery and general pediatric surgery
Strong pediatric hospitalist team
Current call is light; 4-6 weeks at time with an average 1-3 calls per night
Neonate Unit average daily census 25-35 neonates with only 2-4 cases/month.
Strong referral source of 14+ pediatricians
Flex Schedule
No trauma or oncology
Experienced pediatric hospitalist team
Board certification or board eligibility with certification in process is required.
