Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is the multi-specialty faculty practice that employs Physicians across six acute-care teaching hospitals located in NYC, Brooklyn, and the Bronx NY.  Our hospitals are affiliated with world class medical schools in the area. We are currently accepting applications and referrals for a fulltime Pediatrician at Lincoln Medical Center, a Level I trauma center, located in Bronx, New York.
 

Lincoln Medical Center's Pediatric Clinic cares for over 10,000 Pediatric Patients - with approximately 30,000 annual pediatric visits for primary care and urgent care visits.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 

• Ambulatory Clinic
• Primary Care provider sessions (5-6 sessions/week including 1 evening clinic every other week).
• 1 administrative session per week.
• 3-4 resident/medical student supervision sessions per week
• Physician in charge (PIC) 1-2 sessions per week.
• Troubleshoot any issues in clinic
• Redistribute patients or preceptors due to provider absences
• Write referrals, prescriptions, etc, if provider is absent
• Provide care to DJJ patients (department of juvenile justice)
• Preceptor for procedures and sedations
• Perform telephone on-call coverage (1st call and 2nd call every 2-3 months)
• Quality assessment/improvement - monthly peer chart review for QARR indicators
• Resident education 3-4 didactic lectures per year, participate in clinical research
• Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs and 100 CME/2 years, weekly grand rounds, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
• Participation on hospital-wide committees (i.e. credentialing, IRB, etc).
• Weekend on-call inpatient coverage 3-4 weekends per year
• Must become member of Doctor's Council Union
