I have a facility in South Central West Virginia that has a locum tenen need starting asap! If your license is inactive or expired in West Virginia ,we can assist you with the process of reactivation. The hours are somewhat like a Hospitalist’s hours. You would be working 6 days on/6 days off, 12 hour days.
The clinic is open from 9a-9p and they average around 15 patients per day. I am needing help with clinic and call. Call can be taken by phone with the exception of C-sections. Inpatient Pediatric census is very low in the summer months, with probably half the days having no inpatients. Deliveries are about 2 per week, with about 1 of them being c-section. There is usually a heads up if this is the case and normally not a surprise/emergency. On a locum basis I am needing every other week coverage Thursday-Tuesday. That includes weekday clinics and call coverage from 9a-9a.
We will pay for your travel and lodging and your malpractice, along with an hourly rate, as well as, a beeper fee for being on call at night.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
