Job/Practice Description:
Interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic test and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for primary care services. They make diagnosis after evaluating information obtained and provide pediatric medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate. Has to have the ability to counsel and educate patients, families, communities, and medical staff regarding pediatric health care issues. Have the ability to prescribe drugs and order tests necessary to provide pediatric health care. Have the ability to complete the medical record and other necessary documents regarding patient care in a timely, accurate manner.
Qualifications:
BE/BC in Pediatrics. BLS, PALS, NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
